The golden spiral is a spiral drawn based on golden ratio(1:1.618). These drawings make use of Fibonacci spirals to construct spaces and volumes by interconnecting them with varying orthogonal projections. The overlapping planes infer a projection in depth similar to blueprint drawings. The term blueprint refers to any kind of plan and these drawings are the plans to the imaginary structures that use a simple mathematical system to create space. Vladimir Tatlin’s blueprint drawings for his unbuilt Monument to the third International served as an inspiration to these drawings. The Drawings through its linear quality lingers between the possibility and the impossibility of the forms to exist in the third dimension. These drawings are labyrinths where aesthetics of golden ratio occupies the space.
